February 7-13, 2004, Major General Ioan Gavril Ghitas, PhD, Deputy CHOD, Romanian Armed Forces, pays an official visit to US, by the invitation of his counterpart, general Peter Pace (USMC), Vice Chairman JCS.The itinerary includes visits to military facilities in California, Arizona, Arkansas, Tenessee, Georgia and Virginia.
In Washington, general Ghitas is to pay an office call to general Pace, to discuss bilateral cooperation at the Pentagon and to lay a wreath in the honor of the Unknown Soldier, at Arlington National Cemetery.
