GOAT WITH THREE KIDS

A very famous
Romanian fairy tale about the relations between parents and children and how
children don’t pay attention to their parents’ advice. The performance is a
mix between masks, actors, and big puppets and the scenery represents the
Romanian village.
The play was
first performed in 2001. Since then the show toured numerous
festivals all around Europe (Romania, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic,
Austria) and was awarded several prizes.

Since 1945 Tandarica Puppet Theater
presents programs for children aged 3 to 10. Since
2000 the manager of TANDARICA
Puppet Theater is Calin Mocanu, also The General Secretary of UNIMA Romania.
Among the aims promoted by the theatre are: sustaining the artistic debuts
in puppet theatre, conquering the international space of influence,
consolidation of the internal marketing plans.
About the author of “The Goat with
Three Kids”:
ION CREANGA
(1837-1889) was one of the most important and most popular Romanian writers,
also a deacon and schoolteacher. He was an ironical observer of human nature
and a master of oral style. His tales and stories present the Romanian
countryside life.
