Today, PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu has met with Mr. Craig Kennedy, the president of the German Marshall Fund of the United States

Regional cooperation in the Black Sea area, the programmes of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation project and the preparations for the NATO summit due in Romania, next year, were the main topics approached during the meeting.

The German Marshall Fund official has thanked the Romanian Government for the support it has given the Black Sea project to get established in Romania. The project will represent some support for regional cooperation policies.

The Black Sea Trust for regional cooperation is among the first important projects aimed to the Black Sea area, in the context of the opening of the Euro-Atlantic community towards the region.
