THE WAY I SPENT THE END OF THE WORLD  was the Official Oscar Submission, Best Foreign Language Film

In Bucharest , during the last year of Ceausescu's dictatorship, 17-year-old Eva breaks a bust of Ceausescu at school and is expelled. When she flies Romania , her 7-year-old brother blames the dictator and devises a plan to kill him (Romania/France, 2006, 106 min.)
