Minister of Economy and Commerce of Romania, Ioan Codrut Seres visits Washington and New York

The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Romania, Mr. Ioan Codrut Seres will pay a visit to Washington and New York on May 16th – 19th, heading an important delegation of governmental representatives and business leaders from the Energy, Mining, Oil and Gas Sectors.

The delegation includes, Mr. Iuliu Winkler, Minister Delegate for Commerce, Mr. Dan Victor Alesandru, Secretary of State for the Energy Sector at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Mr. Gheorghe Buliga, Secretary of State and President of National Authority for Mineral Resources, Mr. Dorinel Mihai Mucea , Deputy Head of the Office for State Ownership and Privatization in Industry, governmental and business representatives.

In Washington, the delegation will meet Mr. Samuel Bodman, Secretary of Energy, Mr. David Sampson, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development, Mrs. Anne O. Krueger, First Deputy Managing Director of the IMF, Mrs. Farida Khambata, Vice President, Portofolio & Risc IFC, Mrs. Thelma Askey, Director of the USTDA, Mr. Shigeo Katsu Vice President IBRD, Mr. James Lambright, Executive Vice President US Ex-Im Bank, Mr. Gary Litman, Manager Eurasia Division, US Chamber of Commerce and the US business representatives interested in developing cooperation with Romania.
