Bucharest, April 5 /Rompres/ - New ministers of Tariceanu Government were sworn in by President Traian Basescu on Thursday afternoon within a ceremony held at Cotroceni Palace.
Ceremony was also attended by Premier Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, Senate's Chairman Nicolae Vacaroiu and Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Eugen Nicolicea.
Twelve new ministers took oath before Romania's President:
- Adrian Cioroianu, Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Varujan Vosganian, Minister of Economy and Finance
- Tudor Chiuariu, Minister of Justice
- Cristian David, Minister of Interior and Administrative Reform
- Teodor Melescanu, Minister of Defence
- Ludovic Orban, Minister of Transports
- Cristian Adomnitei, Minister of Education, Research and Youth
- Paul Pacuraru, Minister of Labor, Family and Equal Opportunities
- Ovidiu Silaghi, Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Trade, Tourism and Liberal Professions
- Decebal Traian Remese, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development
- Laszlo Borbely, Minister of Development, Public Works and Housing
- Attila Korodi, Minister of Environment and Durable Development.
Head of state signed on Wednesday the decree on revocation from function and appointment of some members of the Government after the Parliament validated on Tuesday evening by 302 votes in favor and 27 against the new restructured Cabinet.
