The Embassy Series Event, organized in cooperation with the Enescu Society of America

     Piano Recital by Andrei Licaret

The Romanian pianist Andrei Licaret is the winner of several international competitions (Jeunesses Musicales, Yamaha, Lory Wallfisch, Mihail Jora). This promises to be a beautiful evening, as the young pianist is considered to be a great personality of his generation. "The virtuoso pianist proved a remarkable consistency, passing from a profoundly lyrical register to a rhythmically and energetic musical display with sensibility and a wonderful technique.''- Musical Actuality 2006 (Romanian Music magazine). His program includes works of Scarlatti, Beethoven, Enescu and Schumann.
