On March 22, the Embassy of Romania , together with the Embassy of Georgia , hosted a working breakfast in honor of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation led by the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Mrs. Nino Burjanadze. In her opening remarks, Charge d'Affaires a.i of the Romanian Embassy Daniela Gitman explained that hosting an event featuring the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament represents a great privilege for the Romanian Embassy, as well as a wonderful expression of the friendship between Georgia and Romania . Mrs. Nino Burjanadze provided an update on Georgia's path to transatlantic integration and addressed issues such as energy, conflict resolution and regional developments; after her presentation, she responded to questions from EU and NATO chiefs of mission and diplomats, members of the US administration and representatives of the think-tank community
