A Lecture by Mariana Carpinisan
Mariana Carpinisan is an art critic, independent curator, and lecturer for the Smithsonian Institution. In addition, she lectures at Georgetown University as well as other museums in Europe . She is fluent in five languages. In 1998, the Smithsonian honored her for her work in the field of education, where she has most effectively carried out the mission of the Smithsonian, which is to further the “increase and diffusion of knowledge”.
