On November 12, 2006 , Mrs. Daniela Gitman , Charge d'affaires a.i . at the Embassy of Romania, attended the special recital held by Romanian pianist Dan Grigore at the residence of the Romanian Honorary Consul in Philadelphia . Maestro Grigore also performed on November 3, on the stage of Kimmel Center together with Vox Ama Deus Group conducted by Valentin Radu in a concert that marked the 10 th anniversary of the already traditional representations of Maestro Grigore in Philadelphia .

The event on November 12, was also attended by famous Romanian Mezzosoprana Ruxandra Donose and her co-star in the “ Ciderella ” production at the Opera Company of Philadelphia , basso buffo Kevin Glavin , as well as conductor Valentin Radu , Prof. Dumitru Avakian , Mrs. Judit Bretan , and other representatives of the Romanian – American community and American artistic milieu in Piladelphia .
