ROMANIAN AMBASSADOR SORIN DUCARU HOSTS A RECEPTION FOR THE FRIENDS OF THE VILNIUS GROUP TO SUPPORT THE VISA WAIVER PROGRAM AND TO BID FAREWELL FOR THE LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR VYGAUDAS USACKAS

On June 29, Romanian Ambassador Sorin Ducaru hosted at his Residence a reception for the Friends of the Vilnius Group, as they work to include the new allied countries in the Visa Waiver Program.

On the same occasion, representatives of the U.S. Administration, Congress, business and think tank community, friends of the Vilnius Group and leaders of the Lithuanian Diaspora had the opportunity to bid farewell to the Lithuanian ambassador to the U.S. Vygaudas Usakas, who will soon leave Washington to become Lithuania 's ambassador to the U.K.
