Nationalities convention in New York, particularly the Cultural
Institute meeting on Friday.

Friday evening, March 24, 6:30 p.m., The Auditorium of the Romanian Cultural Institute, you are invited to a roundtable discussion on "The Future of Romanian Studies"  The panel will include Paul E. Michelson (Huntington University), President of the Society for Romanian Studies, Corina Suteu, Director of the Institutul Cultural Roman, and Bogdan Stefanescu, Deputy Director of the ICR.  An open discussion will follow. Admission is free.

There are also some other Romanian studies papers being presented on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, including a full panel on Friday, 2:45-4:45 pm, Panel CE 1: National Difference in Moldovan Space: Transnistrians, Jews and Gagauz, as well as a number of individual papers.
