Romanian Senator Norica Nicolai attends NATO Parliamentary Assembly Meetings

From June 19-23, 2006 Romanian senator Norica Nicolai (National Liberal Party) visited Washington and San Francisco to attend meetings of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO-PA), Subcommittee on Transatlantic Relations (PCTR).
While in Washington , senator Nicolai had meetings with members of the US Administration, Congress and experts from leading Think Tanks. In San Francisco , senator Norica Nicolai visited the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), a premier applied science laboratory that is part of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) within the Department of Energy (DOE). In addition, senator Nicolai met with Doug Bereuter, President of the Asia Foundation and former President of the NATO- PA, former secretary of defense William Perry and well known defense scholars from Stanford University .
