On February 14, 2006 Romanian Ambassador to the United States Sorin Dacaru, signed at the Department of State, on behalf of the Government of Romania, the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty for Cooperation Regarding Atomic Information, done at Paris, on June18, 1964. This is one of the multilateral treaties for which the US is depository. Romania joined NATO on March 29th, 2004
