Ovidiu Iuliu Marian President, National Tourism Authority Romania

Ovidiu Iuliu Marian has been President of the National Authority for Tourism in Romania since September 2005. He was previously Executive Director of Universal SA between 2002 and 2005. During this time, he also worked as a consultant and Project Director in “Modernizing and refurbishing the Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel Complex Project”.

Mr Marian has also worked as a lecturer and associated professor in tourism-related subjects at the Romanian-American University and the Romanian-French Institute of Enterprise Management.

Mr Marian has a bachelors degree in International Economic Relations from the Economic Studies Academy in Bucharest and is currently a post-graduate at the same Academy.

Mr Marian is married with one child.
