Ambassador Ducaru attends Romania Day Festival in New York City

On May 6, Romanian Ambassador Sorin Ducaru traveled to New York City for the Romania Day Festival.
The Romanian Minister of Labor, Gheorge Barbu and other Romanian officials also attended the Festival. Hundreds of participants had the opportunity to enjoy live Romanian music and traditional Romanian food.
“We are here to honor the Romanian culture and traditions and to celebrate with the Romania-American community, our American friends as well as our fellows leaving in Romania and throughout the world,” said ambassador Ducaru.
TV Romania International broadcasted live parts of the festival, hence giving the chance to millions of Romanians all over the world to be part of the event.
This was the 6th edition of the Romania Day Festival hosted in New York City .
