On November 18 and 19, the Congress of Romanian Americans hosted its 2005 Annual Meeting in Washington. The event was attended by leaders of the Romanian American community, businessmen, representatives of the American non-governmental organizations involved in Romania. It offered the participants a good opportunity to get updated assessments and exchange views on the Romanian domestic political and economic environment, as well as on the main topics of the Romanian-American relationship.
HE Sorin Ducaru, Ambassador of Romania to the United States, was the special guest and keynote speaker of the event’s Gala Dinner. Bogdan Neagu, Second Secretary with the Embassy of Romania, made a presentation of the current evolutions of the Romanian business climate and opportunities.
