Romania sends 120 army tents to the United States
On September 29 th , the Romanian government approved sending an urgent humanitarian aid for the United States of America that consists of 20 army tents to be used for command headquarters and other 100 heated/thermal tents for various uses.
The tents are owned by the private sector of the state and under the administration of the Romanian Ministry of Defense. In accordance with the governmental decision, the formalities to export the tents will be undertaken by the ROMTEHNICA Company. The Romanian Ministry of Defense manages the transportation and handling of the tents, within the Romanian border. For international transportation, the export will be taken over by NATO transportation utilities from the 90 th Air Transportation Base – Otopeni .
In a meeting on September 8 th , 2005 , the Romanian Government approved the dispatch of seven Romanian forensic experts to the United States . The decision was made upon talks between the Romanian and American governments in accordance with the needs of the American government and Romania 's availability for aid. The Romanian Government expressed its availability to further offer humanitarian aid, pending on subsequent requests of the American government.
